Despite the countless hours I’ve spent playing Mario Bros. games, never did it occur to me they would be the ideal solution to body odour.
Took the afternoon off because it’s 36°C and I want to enjoy it while I can.
There must be a language which has a single word to describe the combination of shock, mild revulsion, and deepening angst from hearing a once-familiar album for the first time in decades and realizing how *painfully* dated it now sounds, in sharp contrast to how contemporary it felt at the time.
In other news, it’s a beautiful day, and I am perfectly comfortable outside. Which means other people are dying of heat stroke.
In a city filled with unremarkable glass towers, something like this is a welcome change.
It’s a decent but generally unremarkable monosynth (no chords, bass or lead lines only), and it’s been around for years. New firmware gives AFX mode, which among other things, allows you to assign a different sound on every key. Which is not novel at all on a sampler, but unique for a synthesizer.

I have officially reached the age where sleeping in a slightly odd position will give me lasting neck and shoulder pain. Just as well it’s absolutely miserable out today.

Done… unless I suddenly realize one piece needs more work/needs the mix adjusted/sucks and must be replaced. Which is where I’ve been at for about 2 years. So maybe not done.
I never imagined a place could exists where bubble tea, vaping, and a lagoon would all intersect. But even if I had, it wouldn’t have looked like this.
