had one of those therapy sessions where you just have to sit in silence for a while after.
they're such cuties! this is ours, she doesn't really do anything other than bake.
my wife bought tomodachi life for my birthday and we added ourselves to the island. in-game, I am tripping over in love with her, just embarrassingly blushy whenever she walks past or deigns to talk to me. in contrast, she friendzoned me and wanted to tell vegeta from dbz she fancied him.
my last day of 39 is winding down, here are the pros and cons of my 30s: ✅ surround yourself with good people ✅ doing good and supporting people is the best feeling, actually ❌ if someone is a shit to you or the good people, they are a shit, it's not your fault ❌ especially if it nearly kills you
I've rarely chosen Psyduck in the games, but have grown to identify a troubling amount with their anime (and especially concierge) representations.
you ever blackout so hard in high school that you completely forget taking part in not one, but two national math challenges and placing third?
In less bleak media, I really enjoyed the ending to Spaced. Tidier, but it felt well-earned and right for the characters. A lot of folks have mentioned The Wire, The Good Place, and Breaking Bad', which I loved as well.
I love an ambiguous ending, it's not always the right choice, but give me something that lets my imagination run wild beyond the end and I'm happy. Twin Peaks and The Return both had me thinking about them for years after.
Death Stranding 2 (PS5) --- I'm one of the weirdos that loved the first game and its friction, so while I loved DS2, it shaved off enough of the rough edges that it lost some of its soul for me. That said, Kojima has been emboldened to indulge himself for some amazing set pieces and performances.
