What a fabulous hotel! Looks like it could even be the 1800s… if you get any good dinner pics, please post them :-) Sounds like a high altitude… in January I was in central Costa Rica and it was 1000m and I felt it 🫠 Right now I’m out for a walk and sitting by the Grand River.

A Jack in the pulpit flower amongst green foliage from my shade garden. It’s got a fabulous stripy red and silver look to it… Looks carnivorous, but I don’t think these are.

Our gorgeous little gem is in bloom right now, a pink-and-white striped cobra lily with a hooded flower and broad green leaves, often called cobra lily or Jack in the pulpit.

Nuestra preciosa pequeña joya está en flor ahora mismo: una flor rayada de rosa y blanco, tipo lirio cobra, con forma de capucha y grandes hojas verdes; a menudo se la llama lirio cobra o “Jack in the pulpit”.

Further zoomed inside this doorway there is a shag rug with a rainbow rug on top of it, a little bed with a duvet with a rainbow cover, and a fuzzy pink pillowcase, rainbow wallpaper, and pride pins decorating the wall like pieces of art. Very cute!

A blooming soft purple flower with a gorgeous yellow center. The foliage is soft green and fuzzy. This is one of my favorite perennial spring flowers. I think it’s called Pasque. After it blooms, the flower heads turned to these fabulous seed heads, and the foliage still looks great.
