I went to dinner my first night there and immediately thought "Colonel Mustard in the dining room with a candlestick". I went in the winter, so the mansion was only open for dinner (too expensive to heat the whole building). But it was great. Go in the spring/summer to get a room in the mansion.

#9: Detransition, Baby by Torrey Peters So good... Astute and hilarious and frustrating and MESSY, ugh
#8: Experimental Film by Gemma Files Oh MAN this one was fun and freaky. Haunted film and obsessive artistic suffering and old folk gods who are better left dead and forgotten.
you should watch seattle mariners baseball for the plot but also the actors are really hot
when companies come crawling back from the ai bubble burst and need Premium Grade Artist Labor again
DNF: Nestlings by Nat Cassidy Overwrought prose. Characters are insufferable; not even in a fun horror-catharsis way just the "I don't give a shit what happens to you" way.
#7: No Gods, No Monsters by Cadwell Turnbull This book is GOOD, with one caveat: I recommend reading the prose over listening to the audiobook. The performer's great, but the book's structure is AMBITIOUS, and it was easy to get lost in the many, many jumps between characters/perspective/time.
