Was reading this last night right as my edible hit and god I had such a good laugh
First-time viewing (in 35mm!) and I am in awe. Gorgeous actors, beautifully filmed, very affecting story with a huge scope that was rooted in believable, complicated relationships. I laughed, I cried, I left the theater floating.
Night three of first-time views. Best movie soundtrack ever? Amazing sense of place, loooooved the ending.
Tonight’s first-time watch. I love the feeling of moving through life after a Mike Leigh movie. The smallest actions feel loaded with meaning.
First-time view last night. Extremely charming romance with an incredible lead performance. There’s a lot of Carrie Bradshaw in Isabel, curious if the SATC creators were inspired by this.
