The formula!

Animal reference - symbolizes the personality of the character and/or is literally their species.

Useful object- something the character uses frequently, either for a job or a hobby.

Accessory- something the character always wears, a jumping point for designing the rest of their outfit.

A Place- where the character lives or is from. What kind of culture does this character live in? How does the environment affect how this character presents themselves?

Drawing of Jinx from Arcane crouched low and taking aim at the camera. Drawn in ms paint (technically js paint, an online browser version of ms paint 98) drawing in it feels like the digital equivalent of painting with acrylics, though I’d argue acrylics are easier.

A line art version of jinx. I learned you could erase an underlying sketch with out erasing the black lines. This changed everything I thought I knew about ms paint.
