@oogmar
Trying to be less online. Here, somehow. I post a lot of pictures of my cat, Kismet, who is a 15 pound lanky boy I found in a bush.
Gravy and cuddle time is 10p.m. Screen door time is 7a.m. I clearly do not make these rules.
Kiz appreciates your appreciation, sternly. Or he's writing you up. I can't tell.
Hey, I'm 200 days sober! Look at this little guy. I maintain that this is the worst timeline to get sober in, but it's a lot easier to deal with because I'm sober in it.
I'm porch reading, so Kiz gets to watch a rare episode of late night cat TV (the neighbors mowing, currently). When he realized I was moving the chair to the screen door, he sprint-trotted up in body language I can only describe as "omigod ohmigod ohmigod it's happening"
Neighborhood fireworks have been super not bad so far this year. They're entirely illegal in city limits, all of them, now. But normally at least one asshole makes a week of it. I'm hearing a few, but so far no mortars and the cat concern level is minimal.
I like this picture of the fam. They act all cool, but they're suckers for a scrambled egg.
And finally, my boy Kiz. He has gravy on his nose because he is just a silly little guy. I hope you have a lovely day.
These guys are Crowpernicus and Sue. I feed them a scrambled egg every morning. They like cat food and dive bombing the neighborhood cats. Foreground is Kismet.
This is Steve. Steve does not bark and wiggles a lot when excited. She is my favorite tiny bean dog.
This is Violet. She also lives with me, but only lap sits maybe once or twice a month. She is angry I stopped petting her.
I haven't been posting much so here is a small thread of animals I see on a regular basis. This is Juniper. She lives with me and yells a lot.
The other day the spare mattress came out for guests. Kiz approached this development with a combination of excitement and despair I can only describe as "American reading the news."
4 months sober today. Look at this happy kitty. He's just a little guy.
I told him to pick in or out BEFORE I got in the bath, for the record.
Kiz is very handsome. Also, I'm watching Sex and the City for the first time (unmarried and late 30s. I'm the demo now). It's so quaint! I love it. Regressive as hell, but adorable.
I got my cat some calming treats which work super well. Kismetron is still energetic and inquisitive but tackles his sisters less. Perfect. So ofc now he lost interest in them. My cat's dedication to sobriety is admirable but DAMN ANNOYING. Here he is being tall.
I was trying to get a picture of Kismet and Juniper actually sharing a window for once, instead I got this cool action shot of the split second Kiz was completely airborne.
Headline isn't 100%, as looks like they were just passing through anyway, but this is the kind of mobility we need from citizenry. katu.com/news/local/w...
It has been too cold/windy to just leave the kitchen window open, but my sous chef complained until I found a solution.
