Amateur #ttRPG designer. Creator of Iron Core. Summoning Advanced Iron Core!
Been playing with the letters AIC from #AdvancedIronCore Logo design is tough!
I think I've posted it before, but every time I get to my mother in law's this sign hits me deeply.
Exquisite! Original post: mastodon.art/@nyurakim/11...
Despite months of radio silence, Iron Core is still fairly popular at some itch tags.
I've finally grasped the principles of Tiled Map Editor. Now everything is set for our Fabula Ultima campaign!

Whoever came up with the idea of #ShiftRPG resolution mechanic is a freaking genius. 1 as crit and max number being botch, combined with exhausting the die (increasing it's size) is so elegant it makes me dizzy.
Practicing pixel art. My daughter has involuntarily served as my first model.
Five years providing accessibility and inclusion. Being a public servant rocks sometimes. #RioInnovationWeek #Accessibility
NO, Bruno. No! No triangular character sheet. Just... Don't! It makes no sense! Are you even listening!? #AdvancedIronCore
Games should surprise players and promote emergent gameplay. If you pay attention to the design spaces the game offers, as a designer you might reinforce that, which will award both you and the players with extra fun! Yaaay!
There are jokers that get stronger if a set amount of cards has been added to your starting deck, so your deck size is another design space.
Balatro is the love child of poker and metroidvania games. Here is the general interface of the game:
I suck at graphic design but I like to practice it. I made this logo for an app my daughter is developing. It's a specialized social network for micro entrepreneurs. She wanted a female flamingo named "Ma'am Rose". I went for a mix between a flamingo silhouette and a rose.
We've just sent out 365 tests with adaptations for students with specific educational needs. My arms hurt. I would (and will) do it all over again (and again, and again this semester). #AccessibilityAndInclusion
Experimenting on how to salvage #ttRPG dice with extreme bubble defects. I like how they "light up" now. 🔺
I've been wanting to write a thread about the concept of "Design Spaces" I learned from Jesse Shell's "Art of Game Designs - A Book of Lenses", using the game BALATRO as a study case. Would peeps have interest in this subject and how it could apply to our #ttRPG s?
I wonder if I should drop a couple of free community copies at Thrones and Threads...
