It is of course no surprise that the top word is "the", but once you get past the common joiner words, it's very easy to get the gist of this drivel.

It is all ~6500 words of the zuckerberg screed, sorted by frequency of appearance. I am not going to repeat them all here, because that's too many characters. it's a huge wall of text.

once i had all six thousand five hundred or so words, i was able to shorten my read by grouping and ranking them by frequency. that's much better! only 1408 or so. and some of those are punctuation marks!

i tried reading the zuckerbergian screed but found my attention just slithering off it. completely unlookable-atable prose. software to the rescure! because Meta publishes their blog in a way that wraps every single word in its own `<span>` tag, it is trivial to query the page for all the words

Vigorous and uncompromising

I thought I would tender a quick review after my first experience with The Handy THET1400 1400W 18-43cm Electric Tiller. The Handy is vigorous and uncompromising. It only really goes at one speed, and that speed is fast. At one point it ploughed straight through a bag of builders sand that had gotten buried under some leaf litter, and although nobody wants a sandy Handy, it didn't slow down for a second. I did find I had to pause The Handy regularly to disentangle fibrous material. The Handy is a fair workout; after a few hours I must say my arms are fairly tired. Its working depth is as advertised. All in all The Handy has adequately satisfied my needs in the garden.

There are reflecting pools everywhere for those with eyes to see them

it is a photograph of an empty alleyway, framed in a symmetrical wes-anderson style, with the perspective lines disappearing off into the distance. the left-hand wall is concrete blocks or large bricks. the right-hand wall is some kind of fence, with periodic full-height steel bollards painted in a bright yellow, presumably to defend the fence from vehicular mishaps. the centre of the alleyway is a light coloured concrete and tapers towards the middle, where a thick green sludge has gathered, forming a kind of pool leading off into the distance. various items of trash have accumulated in the sludge: paper receipts, plastic lids, etc.

shout out to apple who have brought the colour contrast between the text and the background in the "choose a wifi network" dropdown from 1.03:1 (invisible), to 2.22:1 (plain old WCAG Fail)

I saw some gorgeous winter light in Washington DC in January

a glorious spill of sunlight washes across a rust-red painted brick wall. Thanks. I don't really need it now that i've switched it off. The point is, it opted me in to a new behaviour that I didn't want, it didn't clearly describe how to find that control, the control doesn't even appear in the window without first and revealing a hidden bit of UI.
