The second #Orks vehicle I'm adding the finishing touches to today! My "Grabby-Hands" Gunwagon! A 3d print based on classic Epic Ork Guttrippa minis from the 90s! I've added the rust wash to the seams and the lower hull, last thing is to scar up the fuel drums I added and dirty up the whole thing!

I'm finally finishing my modular #Orks printed Gunwagon after forgetting it existed in a box for 4 months... The paint work is 90% done. Some weathering and rust effect is all that's left. Also thinking of building a removable canvas bed cover to run it as a plain Truck model too. Gun crew is next!

The same Gunwagon with the heavy mortar replaced by a large caliber anti-tank gun. Open backed exposed breach with a big square armor shield on the front painted yellow with red teeth marks.

The final version of my Gunwagon: the Battlewagon version! With an armored troop transport box in the truck bed with a medium size looted Predator tank turret on top; ready to lay down suppression fire while my Boyz pile out the back!

#renegadelegion I scored a pretty good find on eBay a couple of weeks ago. They finally arrived today! $39 for the sealed box set and the two faction tech readout books! Talk about a blast from the past!! Now I need to source physical copies of all these different ships! Some crazy designs in here!

Here's 2 more fleets I need to work on sooner than later!! 🤣 The New Israeli Fleet from Ground Zero Games (pic 1), and a fleet I cannot remember which, from Brigade Miniatures (pic 2). Both fleets have barely been started really... 🤦 But if I stay simple: I may just pull it off!!

The aerodynamic ships of the New Israeli Star Fleet, by Ground Zero Games, for their own game: Full Thrust, mostly painted grey with blue trim. So far. With 10 Frigates and Destroyers. 3 Cruisers. 2 Battleships, 1 Fleet Carrier, and 1 Dreadnought, it's one of my older largest fleets.

The blocky but slim ships of my Bridge Miniatures space fleet, originally for the game Armada; all painted in dark naval gray and some finished with yellow stripes on the "neck" structure. I can't remember the in-game faction. There are 8 Frigates and Destroyers, 4 Cruisers, 2 Battlecruisers, 2 Support Carriers. And 1 Super Carrier.

Decided to play around with an unused mini to make a fun kitbashed conversion. So I made a special variant of the Bounty Hunter Marauder II. It's got 3 x Clan UAC/10s w/60 rounds, 2 Clan ER Medium Lasers, and a Targeting Computer! 😁 It's a loud monster! I love it! Totally impractical. #battletech

Getting the fleets ready for a map-based campaign using One Page Rules "Warfleets" ruleset. #OPR has a very fun simple set of rules for starship combat, with wonderful ship construction rules that only take minutes to outfit a ship class! Once done I'll have 8 small fleets for the game! 😁

A small fleet of kitbashed miniature starships from Quantum Expanse: a Battleship, a Carrier, 3 Cruisers, and 4 Destroyers and Frigates. Base colored drab green waiting to be painted.

A small fleet of older ship miniatures made by Ground Zero Games for their Full Thrust rules. Inspired by the Earth warships from the 5th Element film. Painted in "navy hull grey". 1 Dreadnought! 1 Battleship, 1 Carrier, 6 Cruisers, and 6 Destroyers and Frigates.

A small fleet of Auran Dominate starship miniatures from Studio Bergstrom. Painted jade and metallic green with red trim. Very alien looking! It includes a giant crescent-shaped Dreadnought! 1 Battle Cruiser, 2 Cruisers, and 4 Destroyers.

A small fleet of Romukan starships from the Star Trek Attack Wing game by Wizkids. Rebased and touch-up painted for Warfleets. 1 Mogai Advanced warbird, 2 D'Deridex Heavy Warbirds, 2 smaller Warbirds, and 2 Light Scout Raptors. Pictured with a selection of asteroids made from lava rocks!

Finished up a couple of #Battletech projects today. A company of rusty periphery Mercs called the "Adelaide Rangers" from Charleston; and a small group of anti-Kurita renegade Samurai raiders, so far unnamed. ...and yes, I already know my Rangers accidentally look like Ninja Turtles... 🤦

A company of 12 mechs painted in army green and brown, with rust and exposed metal paint scratches and dark red cockpit glass. The bases are flocked in yellow-green foliage and rimmed in dark green with a yellow triangle denoting the front facing.

A Star of 5 mechs painted in light blue-grey with dark blue trim, deep golden cockpit facing, and red trimmed weapons ports. The machines have a techno-samurai look to their styling with layers armor plates, back banners, and decorative face masks. One mech carries a large bladed weapon and another carries a heavy spiked mace. The bases are painted dusty earthen brown.

I loved Mutant Chronicles Warzone! I had a Mishima army. 😁 So many over-the-top models; from goofy to awesome! I also love how England becomes the REAL Mad Max wasteland! 🤣

Cool! They remind me a lot of the old Cybertronic Eradicator Deathdroids from the Warzone game in the 90s! 😁 Very nice models!!

While searching online for any cool new starship miniature games available, I discovered the new edition of FASA's Leviathan. I ordered the core set and one of the larger individual ships to check out. The models are cool. Very big! But cool! But so far it's got nothing to do with the old game...

A quick post showing my deodorant tank all primered up and ready to paint! The details are easier to see now. I'm torn between painting it in military colors or as a beat up post-apoc sports car with gear and weapons bolted on?? I'll ponder it over a beer. 😁

My deodorant tank project is coming along! This morning I finished up the build details and I can start painting later! 😊 I wish I had more detail gubbins but I think it looks cool. It's supposed to be a civilian sport gravcar modified for war. I plan to use it in gang fighting skirmish games.

Since I finished my Terran Mercs for #CAVSO I painted up the first test mini for my 4th unit: it's an Enforcer CAV in my version of the Steel Dragons pirate/Merc force colors of dark green with silver trim. I'm not going to try to do the green on green camo from the pictures, though. No thanks! 😬

The 8th and final mech for my Terran Mercs force in #CAVSO arrived and I got him built and painted up today! A Voodoo! It's a big machine but an older design sporting paired Heavy Autocannons and Medium Particle Bolt Guns, along with chin mounted machine guns for anti-infantry work. Tough but slow.

Making slow progress on my #CAVSO Terran Mercs. Still waiting for my last mech to arrive in the mail. Desert Tan with Pale Yellow trim markings. After this it gets a grungy wash and highlights. Non-reflective black weapons and dark blue cockpit canopies. I hate painting yellow. 😂

Today I'm working on my 3rd #CAVSO force: a Terran-based Merc outfit called The Dog Pack. Made from a mix of CAVs I've bought that don't align with my Templar or Malvernis forces. I'll order my last mech, a Starhawk VII, tonight to finish the force! The colors will be desert tan with yellow trim!

I was sorting my #Battletech minis for storage and finding any I haven't finished painting completely yet (23) to set aside; when I decided to count them up by weight class just to see what I have. 33 Light mechs 59 Medium mechs 60 Heavy mechs 53 Assault mechs 205 total so far. And more to come!

Inspiration struck today: A full mech Company in #battletech painted up like a Regiment of WHFB Bretonnian Knights!? 😁 Each in its own colors and pattern (halved, quartered, striped, etc). And unified only by a small shield badge in the leader's colors on each mechs left shoulder. This'll be fun!

I had a fun evening of watching Band of Brothers and building and base-coating the 3 IVF turrets that will turn my Wolverine tanks into "Badger" APC transports for my #opr Space British HDF army! 1 Heavy MG (Hvy Bolter), 1 Laser MG (Multi-Las), and 1 Crocodile (Hvy Flamer) w/HK Missile launcher. 😊

I'm working on some small turrets I can swap in on my Space British tanks for my newest #opr army: Space British HDF. I used old paint pot lids and bits to make this first small turret that turns the Tank into an IFV troop carrier. 1st one has a Hvy Bolter. Next 2 will be Multi-Las and Hvy Flamer.

I've got 2. The Manticore Heavy Tank. A beast at supporting mechs or as defenders in built up terrain! And sexy to boot!! And the LTV-4 Hover Tank. A 50 ton generic vehicle that was SO generic, it didn't even have its own artwork until the current IlClan era!! 🤣 Basically it's a hover Manticore.

Tonight I made some kitbashed weapon options for my newly printed Ork Trukk/Wagon/Tank/..Thing... It came with the Quad Flack cannon, and I built the crew compartment and small turret (to look like an old armored car!) from bits! And the Mortar and AT gun are kitbashed from Dust SSU parts. 😁

I've also bought a 20 trooper box set of Eisenkern PanzerJagers to add to my army but I haven't built a single one yet! 🤦 I'm paralyzed by options! There are 6 different weapons you can pick for each squad!?! From combat shotguns, to SMGs, to heavy machine guns!! I'm having a hard time picking...

I've added a new model to my #opr Eisenkern Space Germans army in recent months. I built and customized a Mammoth Walker model from Archons Studios! I made it so I can swap weapons from my old Dust Tactics models in and out for different load-outs in GF. Not all options are painted up yet. #2 coming
