I’ve made a very intentional effort the past few years to not immediately purchase things just because I like them/find them cute in the moment, especially with trinkets/plushies. But this is *very* wonderfully nostalgic for me. Plus the solid condition AND it was $10… I made an exception 😭
I wanted to finally crack open this Winsor & Newton travel watercolor set I got a long while back, and I figured I’d use @aurapuffs.bsky.social and @mainmandarin.bsky.social as guinea puffs/ducks!
My favorite genre of shirt/accessory is 80s style Care Bears that are truly doing wholesome/cute things but have added text with a debatably snarky, mundane, or more adult-worries undertone to them and I finally tried to draw one that I would absolutely love to wear if it existed

My heart… so, we recently hung up our pride flags on the front of our home. I just come back from a quick grocery trip to see that our mailbox was open, and I notice these little things in there?? No note or anything, it’s like a magical gay fairy just dropped off blessings and dipped 😭😭 aaah!! 💕
what a completely original pose --- A few months ago, I stumbled across a channel for an upcoming indie animated show, Patrick Foxy! I'm very intrigued by the character design & animations, and after hearing a first episode's coming out this month, I finally took a crack at drawing him!

Another mini canvas I ended up doing out at the bar for a while (Along with a couple of planning thumbnails/slight color planning in the second pic, and the *very* first scribble I did some weeks ago that I held onto) I’m surprisingly *really* happy with how this turned out, all things considered
It feels a tiny bit “self absorbed” to me to be having art I made hanging up in my own home (let alone a sacred place like the fridge), but I can’t deny that it’s also kind of cool to look at them days/weeks later and realize that I am still fairly pleased with them ^^;
