When I first saw this kitten, I thought the mark resembled a boomerang, but it was hard to tell. I got a clearer photo this morning and now it looks more like the number 7 or 8:30 on an analog clock.
I cleaned the dish, put in fresh water, and the black cat took up guard duty. Now if it had been a Persian cat, I would have labeled the dish The Strait of Hormuz.
This is Phil. Short for Phyllis, Philomena, or Philistine. Phil believes every day should be International Cat Day. Well, no. Phil believes that every day should be International Phil Day.
Not from this morning, but the creek here beats hell out of the mess donnie's gang has created in D.C.
Not exactly a reply, though I agree with what you have written, but perhaps the sunrise here will brighten the day:
These are views of our local creek on two different mornings. Call them "same shot, different day."
Here is your morning eye and imagination test. To me, the skunk's markings create a cartoon face.
Ever try to photograph a bumblebee? They seem to bee 😀camera-shy. The following was the best I managed:
Assuming I live long enough, I may one day be living inside a rhododendron:
I couldn't get rid of all the wires, but I rather like the overall photo of this morning's sunrise.
Shall we start the day with an early rhododendron blossoming? We shall. Within a week, the entire plant will transform into a riot of pink.
Actual message: "I've been looking for a guy who looks like you." My profile photo on the site:
Psst! Ever get the feeling you're being watched? I'm sure I'm being cat scanned!
Our local newspaper seems to have gotten its signals crossed. Clocks go ahead one hour tonight, The calendar does not already advance a day.
Yesterday I reported on the installation of a new utility pole. I figured what they did was planted pole beans. Just look! The new is to the left. Sadly, they weren't magic pole bean seeds else I'd be stomping around up in the clouds dodging a giant and looking for treasure.
It's the Charlie Brown's Halloween of utility pole replacement! Neighbor 1: "I got a new utility pole!' Neighbor 2: "so did I!" Neighbor 3: "so did I!' Me: I got a hole."
I do wish forecasters could agree. Is this "a dusting," "a coating," or "an accumulation"?
