He (without fanfare, I didn't even know it at first) rhymed on the soundtrack EP for VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE. So Hollywood might've been a means to an end.
I had this thought about what if Sen Dog from Cypress Hill did the Fred Schneider parts on "Love Shack," which led to the even better thought of Fred Schneider as hype man on "Insane in the Membrane." Just thought I'd share that with you in case you ever need a pick me up. "INSANE! GOT NO BRAIN!"
p.s. Bill Gates' ex-wife paid to refurbish the park down the street from me but there's still no statue or plaque commemorating the filming of KIMI on the pedestrian bridge
I think it's cool that the first four credits in THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU are two voice actors, a suit actor and a stunt double (who once fought Tony Jaa in a burning temple).
Did I need a 6-LP box set of Aeon Flux score beautifully packaged with an illustrated liner notes book and slipmat? No. Do I regret buying it when they marked it down to $35 for some reason? Also no.
I can never tell if these are a.i. anymore but I got a pretty funny comment on an old RISKY BUSINESS review. (If this is a person I wish they knew how many times and in how much detail I've gone into my hatred of that song.)
Ranking of the 3 movies I saw at SIFF this year (all very good): 3. A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET with DJ NicFit (fun remixed presentation of one of my foundational movies) 2. PHOENIX JONES: THE RISE AND FALL OF A REAL LIFE SUPER HERO 1. THE FURIOUS reviews of 1 and 2 coming soon
Oh hey look, I achieved beyond my wildest dreams. No big deal
Sincere nerd post: The Bendu is one of my favorite obscure Star Wars characters. He's an enlightened being who represents the center of the force so he refuses to take sides between light and dark, which eventually threatens his whole planet. An important allegory for our times. Also he looks cool.
This year I'm writing about the films of summer '96. I will not be revisiting the July 4th alien invasion one, but there's so much more to discuss. #SlamEvil
On Star Wars Day I forgot to post about my favorite character, the guy who snuck into the Naboo victory parade by impersonating Mace Windu.
Some people don't consider Seattle a major city, but how do they explain Jones Soda having a Johnny Cage flavor?
My wife didn't seem as excited about this tattoo idea as I was.
Me listening to the boys wonder who the hell the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE movie is even for and remembering that I was on the show once and the main topic was how much I wanted a MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE movie
If it's somebody who deals with brewing conspiracies I can only think of two possibilities.
