I went back and forth on some members of Vere’s team, but ‘a splooting Zorua’ was always the key piece.
You know, I don’t know if I ever shared this here? I wanted to draw the Touchstarved cast with Pokemon teams (chosen solely on vibes), as a style study and because it sounded fun. I started with Kuras and his team of mostly fairy types. Also a legendary, nbd.
And, finally...writing this encounter with Ikora was gut-wrenchingly emotional for me. I really wanted to reach out and recognize the Guardian, the player, and all the love we have for you and the love you gave back to us. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
This is a cat checkpoint, relinquish your most recent cat picture Max lookin’ extra big
This is a cat check point; relinquish your most recent cat picture on your phone.
ok so I literally Just saw a photo of this Wemby fella people were posting about and all I can think is
one of my favorite Max Things is when I say his name and his tail shoots up like a flag and vibrates rapidly
I think more people should apply the pain scale to their negative responses to any given stimulus, and then *temper their responses appropriately*.
Even an older cat can be surprising! I adopted Max when he was six years old, and he is now eightish. The shelter staff told me he was a big, sweet, quiet boy who was a furniture cat; he has recently surprised me with the reveal that he is also a lap cat. And a great handheld gaming console rest.
Thankfully he got up to have another go at *his* dinner, and let me rescue my fish; the backbone portion was a little dried out but it's fine. Norwegian mackerel, $5/lb at the Asian Family Market, seasoned w/salt & pepper, cooked on a rack over lapsang souchong tea leaves with a little water.
Two and a half years since his adoption, my cat has abruptly taken a left turn into becoming a lap cat. This is very cute, except when I have fish broiling in the oven and really should get up to turn the heat off before I set off the fire alarm.
The first Max pic of the year was a CHONKER. I swear he’s a healthy weight, he’s just bunched up and has all his fur puffed out for insulation, but my god he looked like he swallowed a watermelon
Recipe comparisons are very fun, and also a really cool thing to do with kids or folks new to the kitchen to show how similar ingredients can become very different products. But also,
Because of the structure of my door, the best way to hang a wreath is a double-sided wreath hanger. Which means I can hang a dried flower wreath indoors. Which means I better not hear you mauling my flowers in the middle of the night, MAX, you VEGETARIAN ASS MF
One of my all-time favorite Max shapes, the one in a million ‘floating head‘ look.
The things you find while packing to move! I did this cross stitch *five years ago* and never sent it to the friend it was meant for. Uhhh I should mail this-
I like reading your insights and enjoy seeing your commentary on my feed. Here’s a Very Shaped Boy.
