In some personal news, I'm pleased to say I'll once again be flying the Welsh flag on the international Carcassonne stage. I've been selected for Team UK in the upcoming 2026 World Team Online Championship for Carcassonne.

I got an article back recently with minor revisions, and I've spent today finalizing my edits and response to the reviewers... Very satisfying to hit submit on the revised version and send it on its way! Hopefully, it won't be (too) long until it gets published!

Trans people are at risk because the UK have banned trans youth healthcare, and adult HRT pathways are unfit for purpose. If you want to stop DIY HRT or 'black market trans hormones' then lift the fucking ban and make all types of HRT free and accessible through NHS GPs. It's not rocket science.

In 2013/2014 the UK was Europe's trend setter in Transgender Equality. In 2025, after years of decline, it ranked 22nd with a score of only 45.65% on ILGA Europe's metrics. We cannot accept this continued decline, we must fight it in every way we can - from the ballot box and beyond.

Thanks to what I learned through trial and error modding .dds image files in Rome Total War as a child, I've now managed to teach myself how to use Inkscape to digitise trench plans and sections as vector files... 🤣 (only made possible by my supervisors' excellent on-site plans of course!) 😅
