Oxford Mathematician and Wallis Professor Max Gubinelli has been awarded the 2026 XL Medal for Mathematics by Accademia Nazionale Delle Scienze, Italy's National Academy of Science. John Wallis was Savilian Professor of Geometry at Oxford from 1649 to 1703. www.maths.ox.ac.uk/node/81469
