Chorus of Angels roll Washed out this morning. Adult L. Mirror folded, rolled & banded on the lines and dye under ice on an incline. I love doing these psychedelic rolls that produce Rorschach patterns. It’s all about spacing and letting the dye and ice so its thing.

Couple of recent washouts. First attempt at a women’s summer romper( scrunch & geode tie) and two deity roll variations on 28”x26” flour sack towels . I love the pastels in the romper. Lilac, SeaGlass, Peach and various blues in this one. Deity rolls are two powders (rattlesnake & bronze)

Washout Wednesday. Two new deity rolls, freshly washed out. Still figuring out the flow and color layout of this roll, but I love how every one is different. Adult L
I described this shirt as “loud” today to somebody at work and they had no idea what I meant. I muck dyed this for 24 hours, used no red powder at all. I’m also working on moving patterns around on the shirt. I’m a very “center spiral” person so this is forcing me out of my comfort zone

This show is the ( • )( • ) If you haven’t heard this show, you should change that quick. This show is always really close to the top of my list of favorite shows. Definitely one of my most listened to if we’re putting notches on a bedpost

Sunday-evening-May-anniversary listening. One of the first Dead tapes that I listened to over and over and over after getting it from someone in a B&P. Always impressed by Pigpen’s fortitude & songs on this tour even during his rapidly declining health.
Re-discovered some downtempo favorites when I was going through my music app on my phone.
I hear very little talk about this show, but gahtdamn! Easy to get buried in the May ‘77 shows….but I’d still say it’s better than Cornell
