The last time I read THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, I was in middle school, and I was underlining words I didn't know.
I had assumed the plot of The Sixth Faction involved Tris explictly wanting to choose a Faction that was not Dauntless, not wanting Dauntless anyway but not getting it. 🤔

This is extremely interesting because most people I run across don't even know what an imprint is. If I talk to the "average reader" and not people online in bookish influencer spaces, they don't recognize the names of the Big 5 Publishers. This stuff means nothing to them. Books are just books.
This weekend I’m reading RIALTO by Kate Milford! I’m about three chapters in and enjoying this middle grade centered on an abandoned probably magical theme park, though it does seem to be switching POVs between the two sisters in a way that’s confusing me.
This weekend, I finished reading Ellen Poe: The Forgotten Lore by Diana Peterfreund. This is really fun YA novel themed around Edgar Allan Poe and a girl who can see his ghost. He talks only in lines from his own writing, which I am still trying to sort out my feelings on.
I read How to Make a Picture Book by Elys Dolan, and although it’s geared toward kids, it has a lot of great advice for adult writers, too. 5 star read.
I am reading a book published in 2017 that discusses the decline in sales of mass market paperbacks, so I suppose the choice to stop printing them had been coming for a while. From Nabokov's Favorite Word Is Mauve by Benn Blatt.
