Opened 42 years ago today. The chance to work with some of the most amazing, talented people I've ever known, was a gift. Still the best year of my life.
A milestone? Of the 1,500 games played I have 1,489 wins and 11 losses (ergo the 99%). Streaks don't matter because if you skip/miss playing, it breaks your streak. (Dumb. Annoying.)
Today has always been one of my favorite days in sports. On Jackie Robinson day, all Major League Baseball players, coaches, and umpires wear Robinson's number 42 to celebrate his legacy and contributions to the sport and civil rights. It's a fantastic tribute to witness.
