Very excited to announce Taphosource! Our lab at CSU has made our database of hundreds of confocal microscope-scanned cut, tooth, percussion, and trampling marks available open source! This is the result of years of work in experiments, scanning, and prepping data by everyone involved.

New paper out! Very honored to be a part of this research led by @egveatch.bsky.social We argue that H. floresiensis most likely scavenged Stegodon kills from komodo dragons, rather than hunted these dwarf elephants, and that there is no evidence they used fire. Link below!
