what i got instead was a whole new library. over the past 12 years, i’ve experienced all the highs and lows of life from early 20s-late 30s with this gorgeous city as the steady foreground.
this past weekend marked 12 years in Chicago—the longest i’ve lived anywhere. i also saw Lucy Dacus perform with the Chicago Philharmonic in what i can only describe as one of the most spiritual and beautiful acts of collective expression i’ve ever seen.

so tickled with how these turned out. I love art. i love making things with my hands. i love finding small pockets of joy amidst all the chaos in this world. find your passions, pursue them relentlessly.
