Time line cleanse.
I spent a couple days taking care of my Grand Doodle. What a lovable Muppet he is. (Nanny bought him a bat stuffie cause he was staring at the front door waiting for his humans to return).
Just checked our furnace filter following days of smoke & poor air quality. The dirty one on the left was installed in March. (We also back onto farmland so it gets dusy).
My plan for this afternoon is to meet others in my area & learn more about what people are saying about the leadership candidates. I want to know who might be willing to work with other parties to defeat Doug Ford. I'll also be requesting they be a presence on this site.

This pretty little girl has survived a week of vet visits & me learning how to give her antibiotics twice a day. One more dose to go. She seems back to normal & symptom free. It's been a stressful week. Followup vet appt on Monday. 🤞

I just spent 6 hours organizing my fishing tackle. My intention was to find something to fix the chains on my floating pond alligator & I got distracted. 🙄
The house also needs cleaning but that fishing tackle isn't going to organize itself. Priorities!

Morning entertainment for our indoor cats. If we call out; "Bunnies, squirrels, or birdies" they come running to watch. Yesterday, there was a pretty big coyote hunting the field behind us, so hopefully it gets all the voles & skunks and leaves the bunnies alone.

A couple of Northern Flicker Woodpeckers have been aerating our lawn for us. We were swarmed by Japanese Beetles last year, so if there are any of those, grubs, or ants lurking beneath our lawn, I hope these birds clean them up for us. #birdnerd
Lots of frog action today. There's two in each pot. You might have to zoom in. The pond is a mess but I try not to clean up too soon in case there are eggs & stuff. Lots of small fry swimming around. Looks like no loss of life over winter. Pruned the lavender by the pond - a most pleasant task.
Ozzy & Aurora are watching the sun rise. (They were up all night chasing each other & playing so I think they'll be having a lazy day).

Preparing to seek my spring booster in Ontario. I have been challenged in the past as to whether or not I'm eligible. My Métis ancestors were almost wiped out by disease. Currently, covid wastewater testing in the London area shows a massive spike. Time for some extra protection.
