So today i worked on the character controller for #PrettyPrincessPamplemousse It has variable jump height and coyote time. Should be tight enough for a mega man clone! #Godot #gamedev #20gc

NEXT PROJECT: on the list of the #20gameschallenge is a 2D platformer. Well since i've done something like that already i decided to make this one a passion project and do a #MegaMan clone! To start I need sprites first. so booted up @aseprite.org and some pixels later i've got a good base already

FINALLY Snacman is moving perfectly now! This took me way too long to achieve! #godot #20gc #gamedev

Ok i can't make it decoupled. So Snacman now knows about the maze. So now i was able to get this handled without physics, without collisions, just pure data analysis of the maze. Still Snacman can get stuck. So there's some room for improvement. #godot #20gc #gamedev

Next up: Pac-Man clone. I've been struggling for 5 hours now for the movement and still am extremely far away from the correct thing. It's way harder than i thought. #godot #20gc #gamedev

I'm playing around with the idea that the asteroids can collide and destroy one another. I've put some logic behind it. They only destroy on certain velocity and bigger asteroids destroy smaller ones. #asteroids #gc20 #godot
