They can be made into earrings (but don't put ink in them if you're wearing them (and have pierced the lids) - it may end badly)
A Hydra lucky dip I did a few years ago. I am contemplating putting up some of my chimerical creatures as stock art.
I made an extra character sheet for @deathbybadger.bsky.social 's Killer Kobolds from Outer Space so I could have more players for a come and try table at a local convention.
So now this little guy is up and visible on the kickstarter I figure I can share the delight that is my illustration of @everytrickbooks.bsky.social 's Lamington Spider. There's about 15 days left to invest in this fabulous project! www.kickstarter.com/projects/eve...
Footsies! You strike me as someone who's enjoy this sketch I did a while ago of a Bilby on a BSA Bantam :D.
Aster is on HR and moral, she reminds me to take desk breaks (for walks) and to eat meals (so she gets to lick the bowl before it goes in the dishwasher).
Mutuals - Who is on rpg-trader.com - please share your handles so I can follow you. I'll be looking to put my ten trad media Lizard Wizard illuminations up here as stock art as soon as I've had a chance to clean up their backgrounds a bit.
And a monstrocity - the eleflute popsicle. With a playable flute stick once you finish your ice cream. Chocolate drop eyes and lolly banana tusks.
@bcbparty.bsky.social I have been immensely enjoying the eggsploration of NPC s– While stuck on a train for four hours today with my tablet listening I couldn't resist drawing them and a true monstrocity
Also! @pidj.bsky.social's gorgeous game "Growing Thylacine" arrived in my letterbox yesterday and I have added "Do a Rizzo project" to my 2026 goals. Now to find a local print studio that offers that technology and come up with a project!
@pidj.bsky.social's most recent kickstarter, which funded in its first day, has hit 2k. I am warmed up & ready to start sketching the custom illuminations to ornament it! The kickstarter still has nine days live so please go and invest so Pidh gets me doing lots of cute little marginalia extras!
The second was tipping half a cup of tea across my sketch page. Fortunately the paper is forgiving, unfortunately the intense blue and purple ink on the back of the page got spotted and blotched a little.
So I've had two of the traditional three misfortunes so far this morning - the first is discovering that cockroaches had literally eaten the face off my cheese dragon overnight
Had a lovely time creating some art for @kobanya.bsky.social's Folklore 2024 Game Jam @ kobanya.itch.io/housekeeping & using it as an excuse for exploring and experimenting with early chromalithography methods. Drawing heavily (boom boom) on Kate Greenaway references. Keen to do more in this style.
A delicious dragon for an exhibition I have in March. I'm gonna try get about 12 of these done - working to fill frames already have. Any Guesses on what other deliciousness I have planned?
@bcbparty.bsky.social - this has been a bit of fanart from the Christmas special sitting in my head since those episodes aired. Finally put to page : Spearemint X, the Paindeer and Pfeffer von Mintz, Thank you for all the word play.
I liked @brennanleemulligan.bsky.social ´s critical role campaign DM screen so much I've started designing my own.
They not only stopped the undead giant elk from attacking a procession of elderly clerics, but also destroyed the evil skeleton caught in the antlers, allowing it to regain its love of music so they could coax it to the sacred grove where it shed all decaying flesh to become a bony forest guardian
Its the first of #fatbatweek 2025! Kicking it off with the bat that inspired this years theme "fried things": the Japanese house bat: #油蝙蝠 or "oil bat". Kitsune udon comes w a slab of fried tofu. Shout out to @batconservation.bsky.social pacbat.org & globalsouthbats.org #diversitymatters
#ibrc2025 - is just over but the inspirations are going to fuel me for years to come. It's not #fatbatweek YET but @batgirlsusan.bsky.social, @nzbatman.bsky.social, @irorotanshi.bsky.social and the numerous other wonderful bat researchers I got to meet in person this past week: this is for you!
This is such a lovely and engaging graphic about bio acoustic niche separation and the critically endangered Southern Bent-wing bat. #scicom artists please make your signatures such that we can readily look you up!!
Lucky to be able to see the Pleinary by Merlin Tuttle, an incredible photographer, bat photographer, and a founder of @batconservation.bsky.social. Look at www.merlintuttle.org for all manner of resources to know more about bats and how vital they are to our world. #ibrc2025
Privileged to be able to go on a #tolgabathospital trip and see the fruit bats and these magical microbats in person. Barbed wire is a main culprit for why these little lads arrive at the hospital. There are wildlife safe options out there - please look into them. #ibrc2025
