Commentary: Having a lot of fun with watercolors lately. This is not watercolor paper hence the warping. Will start using proper watercolor paper once I gain more confidence. I like how these guys turned out though ^_^

Commentary: I made a drawing late last year titled “amber eyed shapeshifter.” It shows a bobcat shapeshifting into a great gray owl. I enjoyed creating the piece. However, I felt that the animals did not quite match. I think this pair (bobcat and long-eared owl) makes more sense given both species have similar coloring and ear tufts.

Commentary: For the last 2ish years I've been focusing on featuring native flora and fauna in my artwork. This has helped me become more aware of the wonderful wildflowers growing along the trails I hike. Yellow trout lily thrives near my home, and it brings me so much joy seeing their little leaves pop up in early spring followed by delicate yellow flowers.

Commentary: I have been playing a lot with colored pencils and watercolor lately. Happy with how this turned out! My scanner was being a butt with the winter stoat. So I tried my best to photograph the picture instead.

Commentary: Fishers (aka fisher cats) are large mustelids known for hunting porcupines. However, they also eat a variety of plant matter such as berries and beechnuts.
