Here's the latest batch of my quilted fabric "protest minis" that I give away in my neighborhood or post on utility poles. They each are about the size of a CD case. These went to a local salon & boutique to set out for their customers.
I’ve been listening for a long time here. I’m what we Ed Psych folks call “slow-to-warm-up” and there’s no cure for that. Eventually, we cautious types venture out a bit, say a few words. That’s my intention this year: to create conversation instead of just listening. We’ll see how that goes.
The downpour last night brought out banana slugs today at Heronswood Garden, in Kingston WA. Love these guys! And glad they're not my own garden. 😊

Went plant-shopping at Celestial Japanese Maples today, in Gig Harbor WA. Astonishing variety, as usual.
Sometimes it's good to just sit in the backyard and not do anything or solve any problems.
