Sergio Furnari, originally from Italy, had hoped the statue of the deceased far-right activist, which he intends to display in Times Square, would raise "millions" of dollars.

I self-distributed the film in the UK & Ireland because I couldn't find a distributor, designed the poster myself & cut the trailer. The film later got picked up as the first release by then-new Wildcard Films (you may remember them from such films as Kneecap) & it's still going.

But it seems that somewhere along the way, the party leadership came to consume their own messaging, like an AI being trained on its own output. They came to genuinely think that their voters (and not just the grim inhabitants and owners of the UK's media) wanted them to mistreat immigrants, trans people, old people and so on. They spent two years in power actually doing those things and indicating they meant to do even more of it. And now they have staggered back from the absolutely obvious consequences of all of those choices in shock and dismay.

I have always given you a preference in any election as I feel SF are preferable to FF & FG but if Sinn Féin votes down the Reproductive Rights amendment this evening I will never be able to give any SF candidate so much as a ninth preference in future. I worked and donated in order to help get the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution removed. The country voted for it in a landslide. Irish women are still not able to access abortion services as they are legally entitled to do and this amendment is an important step forward.

Please speak to your party leader urgently and let her know that SF is in danger of being just another FF or FG. We don’t need a third centre-right party in Ireland.
