It took me a while to put my finger on it, but now I realise: He thinks exactly like a Civ 1 NPC.

Sometimes it’s to annoy people; sometimes to flatter them. Helena Bonham Carter is very happy to be a cow. She’s had 16 calves now. She’s up for it, if nothing else. I have two new kunekune piglets. Amy Adams came to visit, so I thought: “It’s time this pig had a name.”

Amy Adams the pig is not, by any standard, a pretty thing, so not very flattering. My rooster, Michael Fassbender, is usually fairly noisy in the morning, though he’s quiet today. He has a bit of a limp at the moment, which is ironic, because I tend to refer to him as my big cock.

Are they straight?! I think I'll be forever trying to adjust and align these, no matter how much I use the measuring tape, but what a privilege it is to have this problem. Thank you to @ironwood.bsky.social for mailing out a cool BAFTA certificate, which completes my fancy Pacific Drive collage.

A wall upon which is mounted three Pacific Drive-themed frames. The first contains a poster signed by the development team, the second contains a nomination for a Nebula Games Writing award, the third contains a BAFTA nomination for best Debut Game. They may even be level.

I don't know what is going on but there's a Rolls-Royce limousine parked at my back door right now. It appears to be a Phantom V from the 1960s. If it is, which the square button door handles suggest, it's one of only 196 ever built. It's right-hand drive and in immaculate condition. (1/2)
