Less than one-tenth of an inch of precipitation is expected across southwestern Connecticut through Friday at 8 p.m. EDT.

The 2.85" of rain recorded at the Bridgeport climate station Monday, July 6, established a rainfall record for the date, breaking the previous record of 0.75" set in 2024. The monthly total (5.29") is well above the 0.57" normal through July 6.

Here are the final rainfall totals from across much of southern Connecticut. I am not quite sure why some of the reports reflect less rainfall than this morning's update. However, the final numbers are still quite impressive.
