This year’s reads. Learned a lot and grateful for authors who gave new perspective on Asian American, Native American. African history; homelessness; abolition, Yoko Ono as artist; and media. Inspired by women’s movement in Iran and Lewis/Rustin. And tried to keep making sense of how we got here
First time I’ve had to pay a tariff on a package delivery. Something one of my kids wanted that I didn’t realize was coming from Europe and for which I paid shipping already. Anyone else surprised by a tariff due for package deliveries?
Was watching. Went to my room to cry and a local radio station began playing nothing but Beatles and Lennon all night and I listened until I fell asleep and then woke back up to it. Still have next morning’s paper
