He/Him, heyo, i'm a brazilian and i stream over on twitch at VinSRC with some friends, come by at some point if you feel so inclined, i play FF14 also, Primal-Exodus
I could write about how tragic it all is because i also went through all that like Hope but i think this meme will suffice
Went and 100%'d it because of how much i enjoyed it. There's a lot of grinding in this game like MH, as well as other MH-like things, but i love me some grinding so, hooray for me, also the combat is just fun, it's fun to just play it even if you gotta grind bosses for materials
17 - Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Engless Ragnarok Chat, it's peak i'm afraid, the new characters added are quite fun, i had to fight those fuck ass dragons 20 times but the new bosses are all great, enjoyed the new over mastery thing, game is great solo but multiplayer is where it shines
16 - SSSS.Dynazenon Also recommended by the goat @horangitiger.bsky.social , real fuckin good, i think i liked more than the first series, i liked how everyone else is more involved and the group dynamics are great, it also hit me a bit harder because of its themes i think, definitely recommend it
15 - Disgaea 2: Axel Mode Never played this side mode before since it was psp exclusive and i only played the original on ps2 before. It's kinda grindy and they sure fuckin love geo panels in this jesus christ lmao, aside from that it was a good time, will probably replay the main game
14 - SSSS.Gridman Debated if i should put non-games here but why not. Got recommended this by my friend the goat @horangitiger.bsky.social , good ass fuckin anime, didn't think i'd get so invested to watch the whole thing in 3 days lmao, the animation was stellar too, definitely peak
13 - Mina the Hollower Yacht Club Games did it again, this was amazing, this has so much skill expression, the soundtrack is full of bangers and you really gotta think outside the box to solve stuff, hope this is as successful as Shovel Knight, hope Mina shows up everywhere like Shovel Knight did
Also Persona 3 is my favorite so i got all achievements in that replay of the base game, which means i got to make orpheus telos for the first time, bro's op. Also about the answer, for years i heard people say they didn't use Metis and i'm confused, she's maybe the strongest character in the party
12 - Persona 3 Reload - Episode Aigis First time playing The Answer, as a freak who loves tartarus i enjoyed more tartarus, missed the social stuff in between tho, Metis is a character design made for me specifically, banger ost, a bit backloaded plot wise, complements P3's base story well, peak tbh
11 - Persona 3 Reload (Replay) There's just something about this game, or FES also, that gets me every time and makes me feel deeply emotional that the other 2 modern persona games don't, something about the characters, theming, everything. Those are my goats SEES and Makoto Yuki.
I don't tend to make follow up posts to the games i beat but, i did 100% this one because of how good it was
10- Demon Tides It's peak i'm afraid. I always say that i wish there were more indie 3d platformers and they knocked it outta the park with this one, movement is fun with all the stuff you can add, soundtrack is bopping, all the art is great and i love me a game with costumes.
9- Kingdom Hearts 3 (Replay) Sorry chat, still the best KH game easy, 4th time i beat it, played with a Roxas mod this because that's goat, 10/10 game in every area, no notes
8- Deadlock Is the game out? No, but i have over a hundred hours on it so i'll put it here lmao, this game is really addictive in a good way, the characters are quite varied, the artstyle is great, surprising how good a game that isn't done is, not gonna give a score since it isn't done yet however
7- DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake Somehow the second DQ game i play, honestly this really feels like an adventure with how open it is, the classes are fun to play with and the game looks great, the soundtrack isn't bad but it is definitely like, 20 songs total and it shows but still a good time, 8/10
6- Pokémon XD: DX [Director's Cut] Glad that my favorite pokemon spin off got a mod, and it is quite good too! The pokemon variety and additions are great, physical/special split and fairy type are always good, a very good remix of the original, double battles peak, i definitely recommend it, 9/10
5- Tales of Graces f Remastered Hadn't played this in years, i really missed it, combat is still my favorite in the series i think, the songs are nice, the story is kinda just there for the most part but it has its moments, solid game overall imo, 8/10
4- Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter It was like, really good, i really enjoyed the slower, more slice of life-esque vibe it had going on for a jrpg, it does ramp up at the end tho, characters are great, the soundtrack for this is phenomenal, really liked the combat, looking forward to the sequel, 9/10
3- FFXIV, Forked Tower: Blood Is this a new game? No, but it took 6 months to beat this so i'll put it here lmao. Really fun duty honestly, you do it with 48 people, always love stuff that you do with a ton of players, they gotta make queueing into it better, good lord, and it used to be even worse.
2- Resident Evil 5 (Replay) Played through it co-op with a friend on stream and it was a lot of fun, hadn't played it in years, like, over a decade even. I really wish RE6 didn't scare capcom of making these because i really miss multiplayer RE, RE6 wasn't even that bad. This is a solid 8/10.
1- Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. Gifted to me by my good friend Nio. Rolled credits on it recently but there's still a lot more to do, really fun game, combat is simple but works for what it is, i enjoyed the farming and town building, i like the way they did romance in this, a very solid 8/10.
Well, since i won't be beating anything else this year, i made a tierlist of the new games i beat this year, i will be doing this again next year probably
20 - Final Fantasy IX I'll have to think about it more, but i loved everything about it, like, yeah i don't care much for Quina and the battle intro is slow, but those are small blemishes on an otherwise amazing game, it's an easy 9/10, thank you @h0tstove.bsky.social for playing through it with me
19 - Lobotomy Corporation Started it early in the year, best way to describe it is like, a maintenance strategy game i guess? Story and OST are really good, hard at the start but it gets easier, some design decisions here are not good and made me restart the game to get the true ending, like a 6/10.
18 - Sonic Racing CrossWorlds One of the games i got gifted for christmas, i rolled credits so i thought i may as well post it, it's really good! It needs some more tracks and more general Sega rep, can't say i'm a fan of the price and the uh, "nickelodeon crew", that aside it's like a solid 8/10.
