How long does it take before you're all, "OMG, totally forgot that dad's basement was a torture chamber."
Today~ a new chapter of MY SECRET TWENTY, my freaky online serial novel about the trials & tribulations of Nile Trondle, given strange "dating sim" abilities by a genie! Your support & readership is greatly appreciated! As a lure, I'm making the story real good! www.royalroad.com/fiction/1731...
Four originals by the French cartoonist Roger Tetsu (1913-2008: known simply at Tetsu) in his simple, engaging and masterful style.
Enjoyable originals from my online wanderings this morning. An Archie Cash page by Malik, whose work I've really been enjoying of late. A dirty, grimy Ernie Pike page, by César Spadari. José Muñoz with a page from Sinner. And a nice peaceful page from Vermillion Orin, by Mitsuru Kawada.
Just finished reading this issue of Walalla. Was enjoying it until a scene I despised. Moving on now to start reading an issue of Cenerentola, which is, as you can clearly tell from the cover, the classic and timeless tale of Cinderella.
It’s D&D night at my house, the day that my wife spends all day meticulously cleaning before the guys come over, while I myself start cleaning / showering and dressing 3 minutes before they’re due.
Not really sure what issue this is from. It can be hard to track down since the Vartan panels were cut up and used in different reprint titles. Here's what original issues of Vartan look like, btw. The last one is an issue of Western Story / Kid West, one of reprint titles made of cut-up panels.
Just hung up an original Sandro Angiolini page from the “Vartan” ero-fumetti of the sixties / seventies.
Some nice originals I've run across today in my internet wanderings. A Monsieur Léon page by Julien Solé, a Nestor Burma page by François Ravard, a Christian Rossi page, and a delicious Largo Winch page by Philippe Francq.
The official online motion graphic cover for NEXT DOOR DUNGEON, with art by @arjunasusini.bsky.social, with colors n' motion graphics by @colleencoover.bsky.social!
Nabbed a new page for my art collection. I'm a fan of the old British "girl" comics from the 60's. This is a Princess Tina page, from the Fleetway publisher. Artist unknown, unfortunately. Page is huge!
Look at these totally (not) real testimonials about my writing! Pope Leo said, "Paul is the Saint of Writers!" Porn Star Mia River said, "Paul inspires every scene I shoot" My third grade teacher notes, "Good handwriting." And Lassie says, "Arf! Paul is the realest of Good Boys!"
Weird staging of this image makes it look like the dude's about to toss a blimp at some poor bastard. I personally HATE when people throw blimps at me. Grow up.
Researching on the public domain villains page is a real rollercoaster because you can find entries like this on the same page.
Here's three panels from today's strip. You can read ALL of HEART ACRES by me, @colleencoover.bsky.social and the wonderful @ghostgreen.bsky.social to see what's going on!
