Pam in NC
@pbnc
Flower and vegetable gardening, travel, reading, quilting, time with my two rescue dogs, cooking, friends and family. Democracy lover. Oligarchy resister.
Heck, one house I lived in I was still doing that five YEARS after moving in. It had some really weird wiring that just wasn't logical in some cases. I rationed that the neighbors probably thought I was sending Morse Code through the lights.
Garden here in NC is looking splendid today! Everything is greening up. My overwintering brown thumb only required a replacement for my lemon tree. Super progress! Can't wait for the first veges to finish perking..looks like it will be tomatoes and sugar snap peas.
Love working outside on beautiful days like today! Planted a blueberry bush, summer squash, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower. Onions and all my garlic varieties (5 of them) are looking great! Also planted potatoes in grow bags. A productive day.
Feeling pissed off (who wouldn't be, with the littany of stupidity displayed by our clown president?) and frustrated so have been baking. Here's round one (rye baguettes)...a few more to go.. Food helps me cope. 😊
So many choices! I am scanning and selecting edibles to fill all my raised beds starting in Spring. I can't wait!
Two kids that had a very busy day at Doggie Daycare. They haven't moved since they finished their evening lactose-free vanilla ice cream.
