Board gamer and photographer, sometimes at the same time! ✌️❤️🎲
Last month I lost the absolute best dog to cancer. Here is a video of him doing what he did best: being the absolute best boy and loving every minute of it. I miss you, Felix. You’re the best Sparky a girl could ever have.
On vacation driving through the rural Midwest and still found myself looking at board games.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Time Magazine didn’t consult the board game community about this.
@jonathanhliu.bsky.social is always a highlight of Gamestorm. His excitement and friendliness is contagious! I didn’t get to play with him this time since time was limited (😢), but look at how adorable the Gaming with Geekdad “menu” is! Every year the Geekdad section grows more impressive.
Thank goodness. I’ve been wondering how they were going to get talking dogs and monkeys to play the parts.
I would love to have a nicely curated collection of favorites that I can pull from to scratch any itch that arises. But also, I don’t want to give up any individual game I own. I contain multitudes.
@rf-seattle.bsky.social and @flatoutgames.bsky.social did an amazing job with Cascadia: Rolling Hills! Finally got to play it today and am already itching to play again.
Hey men, stop stealing all the pockets! Omg, like, let us have a couple.
Clio has found herself such a fitting place that I can’t make only one joke! Animal Upon Animal: she took the game too literally boop the Halls: she’s dating someone to boop her off #boardgames
November stats: 42 plays of 18 games. Here’s my most played of the month
Just had an absolutely amazing vacation with @eizebasa.bsky.social this last week. I got to see dolphins swim close to shore!! And play lots of games, binge a show, play tourist, and in general have the best time with the best friend a person could have.
I’m sorry to say that, at the door of Mordor, Frodo and Sam failed. The bright side? I really like this take of 7 Wonders Duel!
Sorry! was the game I played with my dad when growing up, so of course I played I had kids. We always put bread tags on the pawns to make them super pawns. We haven’t played in a decade, but I still have these guys on display because they make me smile. Did your family have silly game traditions?
Plaid duos are timeless. It only follows that the closer the plaid, the better, right?
Hey! I’m Ada, aka Peace, Love & Games from my (now ancient) board game content. Pre-pandemic I worked for TMG as well as being a bg photographer and social media manager. Now, I play games. I am obsessively playing Nanatoridori and Odin on BGA currently. Adventures & photos make me smile.
BGA has been my primary gaming outlet through the pandemic and cancer treatment, and also the primary way I learn about games these days. Teaching the kids Odin today, my newest BGA find.
One year ago today. I can’t believe a year has gone by so quickly. I’m so glad to be on the other side of all that madness, and that I have hair again! 😄
