After an incredible couple of days, not to mention witnessing a full eclipse, we are homeward bound!
We watched it from a hillside in Spain. Huge joy and celebration and much clapping and cheering at totality. An incredible sight and so much joy. Will never forget it.
Back in Madrid ahead of an eclipse watching mission tomorrow night. Lots of very happy memories of an amazing year here as an Erasmus student back in the '90s.

We've just had our garden redone and today is the first day we've really been able to use it. Mr M busy choosing some new plants whilst I laze around with some well chilled rose and a good book. No cheetahs sadly, but we do have three rather overheated cats.
