Update for @edsbs.bsky.social - the current summer hours at the Ann Arbor Warhammer store from my morning walk. The cafe next door just fell due to rent hikes so we have to direct all biomass, credits, etc to hold the line.

Luckily the talented graphic designer that whipped this up for the Athletic Department posted a screen recording that goes through the details that make this not just a beautiful design, but historically relevant! I love it.
A few weeks ago Michigan Basketball won the national title, and a version of this meme was floating around using the wrong version of the basketball national championship logo (I’m guessing it was made hastily, probably with AI, in the late night hours following the win). Here’s the correct version.
Michigan is known for their giants; there’s an irony in the smallest guy on the court force-feeding it to UConn.

I can’t remember the last time Michigan played a half of basketball without a 3-pointer and still lead. This statistically won’t continue in the second half. If they keep the clamps out on defense they’re going to win this game.
I spent ≈10 minutes fussing with color profiles, hardware acceleration settings, browser HDR configuration before bailing and changing the channel to regular old FS1. Only 720p60 but all these guys are ready to escape Pleasantville.
HDR interpretation of Fox Sports is badly broken on macOS with Youtube TV. First screenshot is 2160pHDR as Fox Sports Plus 4K serves it. No option to disable HDR, and on a MacBook Pro M4 Liquid Retina with the XDR P3-1600 nit preset it serves something akin to LOG footage without a LUT.
Nebraska shooting 63% from 3 and Michigan shooting 25%. Both need to return to the mean for Michigan to stay in this one.

Late night UM Hoops halftime entertainment: Just got served an ad “for Ann Arbor locals” featuring AI-generated street signs and intersections that literally do not exist. If you’re going to use AI slop to sell Ann Arbor-themed merch, lean into fantasy instead of cosplaying local authenticity.
iPadOS 26 fixed my biggest complaint with using the iPad- the floating PIP window was tiny, even on an iPad Pro 11”. Being able to fill the horizontal width on video playback and keep Bluesky on the bottom is just one of 20 ways the device is more useful for multitasking. Photo before/after. #ipad
