Looks like a Javanese or similar Bichon Frise-based dog. They ARE long and have an unusual gait, as shown below.
This is the Silmarillion edition I mentioned previously. A HarperCollins UK edition, but it could easily pass for a Folio Society one with its quarter-bound design. This one was actually printed and bound in Italy!
Sadly, they do eventually fall apart - like us! That’s why I went for a rather fancy edition, a while ago. 👍 The Silmarillion is even fancier, since there wasn’t a matching one at the time. ☹️

Hardly - opened in 1875, this large station still has 7 platforms, some sub-divided. In the 1960s it was the gateway to North Wales, with six signal boxes! Even now, it connects to Manchester (including airport) Liverpool, Wrexham, Holyhead, Crewe and all points to London.
Recently got a new (to me!) zoom lens and needed to test it. For investigating vignetting, most people use a clear, blue sky. Not that common in early March here in the UK, but we've had some lovely weather lately. So, I present to you... BlueSky! 😂
