Which of these do you mean? And yeah the alameda anchor is a pretty popular bumper sticker on the island. The flag pops up around, but not as often.
The bike/pedestrian path I believe is big enough for a fire engine. Idk the cost/effectiveness of retractable bollards. The brown playground area is about the size of the Dimond park tot lot. I drew some trees although the trees in the actual map provide better scale.
Every time I walk my dog I think about how much nicer my neighborhood would be with less through-traffic and more parks. Setting aside the Oakland’s coffers aren’t overflowing, I’d be very curious to know the feasibility of turning a bunch of intersections into parks.
