Example of Lasseter actually stating outright that Kremlin-san's works were an influence on them. 1981 is very early into the timeline. The line about them taking out Ghibli LaserDiscs for shot inspiration needs to be corroborated by other Pixar staff before we take it as fact.

Beginning to think that the dub of Garzey's Wing psyopped this 3 episode OVA into "one of the worst anime ever" or something like that. I dunno.
