Intersection of Upshur, Kansas & Ave by Library is closed at the moment. At least 2 people injured in what looks like a traffic collision between an electric bike & maybe a vehicle. 1 person rushed off in ambulance & one appears unfortunately deceased. No other details. (photos from bystander)

FYI... 🚧 Taylor St NW between Kansas and 13th will be a bit of a mess as DDOT repairs sidewalks, curbs, gutters and wheelchair ramps. Necessary work, to be sure! Work begins Monday, 12/8 - Saturday, 12/13 (7am to 6pm). The project is expected to be complete by December 19th (weather permitting).
My daughter made some awesome Maple Snickerdoodles for DC FEMS Engine 24 the “Pride of Petworth.” They were stoked to get the treats, and we thanked them for their efforts keeping people safe. #Thankful
