Just finished this terrific book. I was turned on to Perumal Murugan some years ago by Parul Seghal's review of his wild weird wonderful “The Story of a Goat." Great writer & story teller. No doubt even richer in Tamil but even in translation his people & world come vividly & grippingly to life.
