So proud of Thor-our red male Doberman. On our walk this morning we came across a disabled child running nude in the street. Thor didn’t growl or bark as the child ran towards & away from us while we waited on police to assist. 2 other neighbors joined in as well as PD & the boy safely made it home.

Walked Thor across from a house w/ a baby gated garden & 3 hellions all barking at him. No reaction Lady walking on other side of street w/ small pittie barking & lunging b/c the 3 dogs had her worked up. Thor: no reaction 2 seconds later sees a wasp: growls, barks at it, and tries to bite it. 😝 🤦‍♀️

A few years ago I had a writing day in May to make a deadline, went for a run that evening after specifically checking the forecast & radar, & still found myself in a freak hail storm with a concussion.

I was making Thor’s bed since we washed it today while SNEH let them out. Heard the dogs losing their shit so I go outside to help & see a snake rear up ready to strike w/ SNEH & both dogs around it. Called the dogs off & inside for a treat. Snake fled to the neighbors yard. & now we’re wide awake!
