🌱 I'm just studying the way here by the river, today. The writing over the door says, "jingshen daochang", which means, "spiritual ashram".

🌱 I collected the seeds for these exquisite, frilly, pink poppies from dry seedheads in a garden at Blithewold, in 2024. Last summmer I grew them and was pleasantly surprised to see how wonderful they are. I planted seeds from this 2025 generation, and they're growing all over the place this year!

🌱 I started 50 ranunculus roots in the cellar a couple weeks ago. Last night I transferred 16 of them into a couple of planter/boxes. I also sewed nasturtium and delphinium seeds into those same boxes to take over when the ranunculus are done in summer.

Dobby's hangin out by the creek today 🌱😊

There are pebbles and sand on the bottom of the riverbed, and there's a school of copper-colored fish. There are lush grasses and marginal plants at the water's edge. There's a huge, old Sycamore and a weeping willow near the cabin. Dobby is on the shore, happy and peaceful, fishing with an old fishing rod.
