This is the president. I realize I'm not a diplomat. And in the year of our lord 2026, I am 50 Cent level petty. I say we never assist America with their forest fires again, and send an invoice for past services.

We are holding Canada responsible for the fact that they are not properly maintaining their Forests, and Brush therein, and the United States is being unnecessarily invaded by filthy, polluted, and unhealthy air, the quality of which is dangerous, and totally unacceptable! I will call the Prime Minister during the day to find out what they are going to do about it. The cost is incalculable! Canada has refused to engage in basic Forest Management and Debris Removal, knowing that such refusal will lead to exactly this result. This is Willful Negligence, and becoming a yearly occurrence, costing the United States Billions of Dollars, which cost of this pollution must of necessity be added to the TARIFFS Canada is currently paying. Mike Roger's, a senator from Michigan posted this on his social media. Perhaps he has forgotten that Canadian firefighters have come to his country to help fight their forest fires. Or that a Canadian firefighter pilot died in Colorado this week helping put out their forest fires.

Details of the cease fire from Iran

Iran media publish purported details of Iran-US draft agreement

Iran's state-affiliated Mehr News on Sunday published what it described as details of a 14-point draft memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington, provides for the release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the 60-day talks

The reported draft has not been independently verified, and neither Iranian nor US officials have publicly confirmed its contents.It appears to match a version first published by Mehr News on Friday.

According to Mehr, the draft begins with an immediate and permanent end to military operations across all fronts, including Lebanon, alongside a US commitment not to interfere in Iran's internal affairs and to respect the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic.

The report says Washington would commit to lifting the naval blockade within 30 days, withdrawing forces from around Iran and allowing the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian arrangements during the same period.

The draft also reportedly provides for the release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the 60-day talks, with half the funds becoming available before negotiations begin.

Secretary Rubio congratulates Trump on milestone deal, notes it coincides with his birthday
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has congratulated Trump on the announcement of the deal and has taken note of the fact that it comes on the president’s birthday.

There has been a bit of scepticism about whether all facets of the deal have actually been agreed and whether it will hold, or whether, as our correspondent at the White House, Kimberly Halkett has said, this is Trump projecting.

Iran says final talks start only after assets are unfrozen

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said Tehran's commitments under the newly announced understanding with the United States will take effect from Friday.

Speaking after confirmation of the agreement, Gharibabadi said negotiations on a final deal would continue for 60 days and would focus primarily on the lifting of sanctions.

He added that Iran would enter the next phase of negotiations only after the unfreezing of Iranian assets, the end of the US-led blockade and the formal end of the war.

Iran says end of war to be announced starting tonight

Iran's deputy foreign minister Kazem Ghribabadi said the immediate and permanent end of the war and military operations on multiple fronts, including Lebanon, will be announced starting tonight.

He added that negotiations on a final agreement between Tehran and Washington would take place over a 60-day period.

"The text of the memorandum of understanding will be published shortly, and the public will be able to see Iran’s achievements and commitments," he said. "Our commitments are not comparable to our gains."

Young MC dropped out of the 250th anniversary. Based on comments by his less than fans most of them are happy. Not sure how one would not think this is a Trump event...

I have informed my agents that I will not be performing at the freedom 250 event. The artists were never told about any political involvement with the event. And despite the claims by the organizers that the evenr is mon-patisian. SPIN magazine describes it as Trump backed. I hope to perform in D.C. in the near future at an event that is not so politically charged.
