running consistent 10-hour loads on llama.cpp also unearths all kinds of fun issues: for example, the server getting stuck and refusing to accept any new requests until restart now patching my launch-proxy with auto-restart if throughput drops to zero for extended periods of time 😭

nah, as in having multiple windows side-by-side within the same column (cf attached i3 screenshot) i3/sway also lets you convert these splits into tabs, so your side-by-side windows could be tabs that you can switch between all extraordinarily handy for managing terminals
