Sometimes Christmas comes in September. The gift isn't wrapped under a tree. It arrives in the form of email. ♥️
Your piece is powerful. Thank you for your work. Reminder: "Killers of the Flower Moon" by investigative reporter David Grann (Doubleday, 2017) is riveting, important too.

Learn to like dandelions. Note: A Missouri appellate panel Tuesday (May 27) affirmed a trial court's $611M award for three people who claimed their cancer was caused by Bayer unit Monsanto Co.'s Roundup weedkiller.
Only this year did I discover that dandelions are related to sunflowers AND valuable to pollinators. Dandelions are in the Asteraceae family that includes asters, daisies, sunflowers. Pass the word. (And please stop spraying poison in the yard.) @gardeningwell.ie @parents4planet.bsky.social

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts re: all-female management team: “It’s something that happened organically. I was seeking out the best, and that’s how it happened.. And honestly, it’s an eye that I don’t have that I’m able to lean on in certain situations. That’s something I value heavily.”
Well, at least the president didn't offer condolences to the Great State of Kansas this year. Note: Chiefs HQ in Missouri.
