Thank you to the person who let me over cause I don't have time for this final destination shit this morning.
July 2003 my mother heard the words, "you have breast cancer". Since then she has helped countless women look and feel their best as they navigate their own journeys through treatment. She called me yesterday and showed me she shaved her head AGAIN - but this time to celebrate her journey.
Needed to get out the house so came to one of my happy places. Nice breeze and the sounds of the water do my soul good. It ain't the nicest water to look at 😂 but the sound it makes is 💯.
#BlackgirlMathMagic Ya girl spent 2 days with people who love math as much as I do! -What we say to kids that "mean well" can be harmful -Don't cut parts of the curriculum because it what's easiest for you because you strip learning from the kids. -Stop saying what they can't do!

Just one of the many reasons WE stay giving our money to HEB. If you come to Texas and visit one, and you got sumn to say, don't. Proud that our daughter has been working there for 4 years - and they let her take leaves to focus on school and come back during break. 💜💜

Sailing, leaving St. Kitts, and then all of a sudden, an hour or so later, I feel richer in life for being able to view this mountain in the sea that I never knew existed. So I just wanted to share what I saw with yall. Saba Island - where 1500 people live.
If my big brother were still here, I would have woke up to a birthday text of a screenshot of his FB post telling the world it's my birthday and how I've always been ugly and annoying. He always used the same picture. That was one of the first things I thought of when I opened my eyes.
