On Friday I had a meeting at noon and had to close the door of the box room office. Went from a tolerable 27c to 29c in just minutes.
The bots on here are getting overwhelming, and that's just the ones which aren't subtle.
One thing that comes up all the time is that most portable AC units are sold with a sliding or sash window fitment kit. But nobody knows what to do for casement windows.. until I saw the window pane solution pic below with a hole. I couldn't get a supplier to do it where I am, so I DIY'd.

We also need wage transparency to counter wage theft. But IBEC 'demands' otherwise..

Really tired of our media. They can uncritically present a "report" commissioned by data centre lobby group "Digital Infrastructure Ireland" Are they all getting a payoff.. Influencers have to declare product placements, surely we should do the same with industry lobbyists.
Well most drivers here don't appear to know what they are, and they are on most urban junctions. I reckon we ought to have a multiple choice quiz for driving licence renewal and if you don't acknowledge the concept you don't keep your licence..
I however found this comment, which was a rare opposition and conveys a hard and rather more realistic account of the long term effects of cars on rural Ireland, and is a well written example that parallels my own feelings on the changes brought by car dependency in the place where I grew up.

That should be playing on every Gas pump advertising display.. And the pump should stop if you look away. (Also, wtf.. Having to watch ads at a Gas pump is an alien concept to the rest of the world)
Kinda tired of everything getting more expensive, but wages stagnating, at least in my case. Not sure how this can be sustained for many more years. Fed up really, and doing everything possible to cut costs. €458.37 this year System needs a reset.
I think PK Menthol was my prelude to Menthol gum. It was in capsules rather than sticks pretty early as well. I don't think sugar free was a thing at that point.
There was a branch line there yes, but long since closed. It was a spur of the route between Lismore and Mallow. Any modern route would be city focused of course.
Unfortunately the spiking fuel costs are being used as an excuse/justification for further peat extraction here by groups who have long resisted moves to rewet the bogs and are only motivated by cash.
Finally, if it weren't for the presence of the Army heavy recovery / wreckers I think we would be in a seriously poor position as we would be reliant on third parties and nobody would have dared to do so in the face off this. So these are very critical vehicles to call a bluff.

Pickups are never used for actual work here, usually it's either a work van or some variation of the following for heavier duty work like landscaping. They can mount a tipping bed, or tow a mini digger.
