I don't know if it's Amazon, McAffee, or "AI" to blame for this terrible notification on my phone but, no, I don't think I want "digtial" [sic] anything. Actually, I wonder if it's like those 419 email scams where they include errors to ward off people who are going to be hard to scam.
Just played Sanibel with @laurastephen.bsky.social and @discomrobulated.bsky.social A wonderfully pleasing game with some very nice mechanics. It felt very close all the way through, and I just squeaked a win with 45 points. Another fantastic game from an awesome designer!
I'm trying to find a replacement, or a way to recondition a failing, lithium ion battery (made of two 18650s connected in parallel). There looks to be several options but the complication is that there are three wires coming out, into a JST connector, not two.
You can make the "text generation machine" output anything if you give it the right prompt: In that case I "searched" for something specific, with enough spaces to make the bit I needed to hide not appear in the screenshot.

Fucking hell, looks like Reform have taken from both Labour and the Tories, which makes sense because all three are promising the same right-wing bullshit. www.bbc.com/news/live/c1...
This video amuses me because Keir, a politician, wades in to criticise Zack Polanski with the phrase "and for politicians to wade in … is disgusting". He also has the audacity to say: "He's not fit to lead any political party." Do you really want to be throwing stones from inside your glass house?
Huh, so there's no way my 27 initiative gets beaten. Just looking through for their abilities.
Pick up the nearest book, turn to page 42, and post the second sentence: "The very thought brings a sudden shadow of _Bad Dog!_ to me and I start whining again." ("Dogs of War" by Adrian Tchaikovsky, the e-book version from Google Play Books
Quote post with something good that lasted longer than the Confederacy (1861-1865) Doctor Who. Even just the original run (1963-1989), or just the reboot (2005-present), rather than the whole show combined (1963-present).
When the printing press was first brought over from the continent it didn't have either character so printers decided to replace "þ" with the wye, y, as these looked similar when written ornately. This is why many "older worlde" style shops use "Ye" in their name, but this is really just "The".
I think plate 7 is also ambiguous because the top isn't well differentiated so it could be either a fancy 3 or 5
I gave up having Discord Nitro for several reasons, including them asking for ID from people, but it does mean I can't join any servers until I leave some. With Nitro you can be in 200 servers and without you can only be in 100. I'm in 153. server-count.nobrehd.pt
In personal news my Factory¹ has successfully reached the win screen after just over 1085 hours. There are achievements for winning in shorter times, with the best being for winning in 40 hours, and the world record for a random start is under 4, so I have some room for improvement. ¹ Factorio
"average rich person has lots of legs" factoid actualy just statistical error. average rich person has 2 legs. Legs Alan, who lives in cave & has over 25, is an outlier adn should not have been counted (Image from quoted post has been attached to this post, to include alt text)
- I store the second sock in the safe place - I search for the now missing first sock - I re-find the first sock - I go to put the newly found sock with its partner - I find a pair of socks in the safe place - I now have three matching socks!
