Back in my favourite place.

A lake reflects the blue of the sky above. Near us, green duck weed and algae mix to create a palette of greens overshadowed by rushes, trees, and reeds. All is alive with sunlight and glows as only a high summer day can.

Anyway, for those interested, here is what I made – fruit and apple cake.

A cake rests on the lid of a Quality Street tub. The cake is 8” round and in the loo we can see segments of apple embedded round the perimeter. The cake is a rich golden brown. The background is foliage.

I’m cheering myself up by baking. I’ve not done any in over a decade. Cake batter, eh? Eh? EH?!

I’m only on page 62 but ignoring a completely facile statement on page 18, this is actually a decent read. Not sure it holds anything you could find on YouTube, but it’s all gathered here in a readable format.
